💼 About This Role

You'll act as a Subject Matter Expert for system, software, AEH, and cybersecurity design assurance at Archer, an electric aircraft company. You'll interface with FAA DERs and lead compliance reviews for safety-critical aerospace systems. This role offers the chance to shape certification processes for cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as SME for system, software, AEH, and cybersecurity design assurance
• Review and approve software/AEH life-cycle data as company DER
• Execute system design assurance reviews per ARP4754A/ARP4761
• Support FAA DERs and certification authorities for compliance reviews

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in system and software/AEH design assurance
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent
• Experience with DO-178C and DO-254 standards
• SW/AEH DER authorization for Part 23 DAL B

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DO-326/DO-356
• Experience with model-based development per DO-331
• Familiarity with Polarion, Collaborator, Git, Jira
