Description

You will lead the design and review of automatic sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and related suppression systems for a large semiconductor facility, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements. You'll serve as the owner's representative during construction and coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in fire protection system design or consulting
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25
• NICET Water-Based Systems Layout Certification preferred (Level II+)
• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills

Responsibilities

• Design and layout automatic fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and local codes
• Generate fire suppression specifications for water-based systems
• Perform hydraulic calculations, material take-offs, and system sizing
• Act as owner's representative during design, construction, and commissioning
• Conduct field surveys, inspections, and site walks to verify compliance
