💼 About This Role

You'll own the full hardware platform lifecycle for our next-generation mobile data collection sensor, integrating LiDAR, cameras, GPS, and IMU on an Nvidia Jetson SoM. You'll drive the transition from prototype to fleet-scale deployment, ultimately bringing key subsystems in-house. This role offers the chance to ship hardware that improves infrastructure for communities nationwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own hardware platform lifecycle: architecture, design, prototyping, testing, production.
• Integrate multi-sensor systems with Nvidia Jetson SoMs.
• Develop embedded Linux BSP: device trees, kernel modules, drivers.
• Drive custom in-house design transition for fleet-scale deployment.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in embedded systems or hardware design.
• Hands-on PCB design experience (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
• Deep embedded Linux proficiency: BSP, device trees, kernel modules.
• Experience integrating Nvidia Jetson SoMs (Orin, Xavier).

• Edge AI inference optimization (TensorRT, DeepStream, CUDA).
• Mechanical/enclosure design (CAD, thermal simulation, DFM).
• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or mobile mapping.
