๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll lead and motivate a group of up to 100 Student Advocates globally as part of the FT Schools team, gathering feedback and shaping projects to make the FT more engaging for young people. This paid, part-time remote role requires ~12 hours/month and suits a current undergraduate who is motivated and organized.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Lead monthly calls and regular Slack communication with up to 100 Student Advocates.
  • Mentor and empower Student Advocates across different schools and regions.
  • Communicate ideas and feedback between the FT and Student Advocates.
  • Gather feedback on projects and find opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Connect with teachers to share updates on Student Advocate progress.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Current undergraduate university student.
  • High levels of motivation and initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills for regular communication and follow-up.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team.
  • Confidence working remotely and communicating via Slack and video calls.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the FT and/or FT Schools.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting younger students.
  • Experience leading a student society or similar group.
