💼 About This Role

You'll develop and certify embedded software for REGENT's Seagliders, a new category of wing-in-ground-effect craft. Your work directly impacts real-time software, simulation testing, and field trials to ensure reliable, testable platforms.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain real-time embedded software for Seagliders
• Build and support SIL/HIL test environments for controls verification
• Manage COTS electronics, sensors, harnesses, and breakout boards
• Prototype and field-test during sea trials, including diagnostics

📋 Requirements

• Experience writing C++ for embedded systems (Linux, RTOS, or bare metal)
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and interfaces like SPI, CAN, PWM
• Ability to read and contribute to wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
• Scripting proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with LabVIEW or Simulink for DAQ/HIL systems
• Familiarity with actuation systems like servo motors
• Knowledge of DO-178C or ISO 26262 safety-critical standards
