💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead SEC reporting and SOX compliance for a newly public biotechnology company. Your work will establish scalable processes and ensure accurate financial disclosures. This is a foundational role in a mission-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-8).
• Serve as subject matter expert on technical accounting matters.
• Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead equity accounting and stock-based compensation calculations.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required.
• 8-10+ years progressive accounting experience with SEC reporting.
• Big 4 public accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
• Experience building or enhancing SOX compliance programs.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in biotechnology or life sciences.
• Experience with cell therapy revenue recognition.
• Experience with Active Disclosure, Equity Edge, or NetSuite.
