💼 About This Role

You'll use academic literature and computational modeling to steer warhead design from concept to production. Your work will directly influence engineering decisions and reduce physical testing. You'll collaborate across multiple programs with a deeply technical team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design warheads using hand-calculations and multi-physics simulation tools
• Create pre-test predictions and correlate models with test data
• Manage arena and system testing of munitions end-to-end
• Analyze lethality and performance using Gurney equations and CTH/Sierra/Zapotec

📋 Requirements

• BS or higher in mechanical, aerospace, or explosives engineering
• 2-10 years of experience in warhead or ordnance mechanical design and testing
• Experience with multi-physics modeling tools like ALE3D, Ansys Autodyn, or CTH
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Active U.S. security clearance (DoD Secret or Top Secret)
• Expert level experience with multi-physics modeling and simulation tools
• Experience with munitions testing and CAD tools like SolidWorks or NX
