As a Payroll Specialist Lead at Remote, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing for Japan, ensure compliance with local regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve payroll operations. You will leverage your expertise in payroll best practices and tools like SAP and Excel to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Payroll management or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of payroll best practices
• Proficient in SAP, Excel/Google Sheets
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Japan payroll
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers
• Process full end-to-end payroll, statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, compliance
• Ensure data integrity and quality, accounting/reconciliations
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs, implement and improve processes, mentor specialists
