Description

As a UX Research Intern at Roku, you'll partner on mixed-methods research projects with a focus on international users, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape product decisions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design, Data Science, or related field
• Demonstrated interest in international/cross-cultural research
• Familiarity with mixed-methods research and comfort with qualitative and quantitative approaches
• Experience designing and analyzing surveys in Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mixed-methods studies including interviews, usability tests, diary studies, concept tests, and surveys across multiple countries
• Support international research operations: participant recruiting, localization, incentives, and vendor coordination
• Design, program, and analyze surveys using best practices in sampling and question design
• Conduct moderated and unmoderated qualitative research and synthesize findings into actionable insights
• Synthesize and communicate insights through reports, debriefs, and concise readouts tailored to diverse stakeholders
