Description

You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of the Starshield constellation, designing its geometry and implementing control systems for orbit maintenance, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define future vehicle requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or engineering
• Software development experience in C++ or Python
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Active Top Secret/SCI or DOE Level Q clearance or ability to obtain
• Experience in GNC algorithm verification via simulation and model validation

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable GNC algorithms, flight software, simulations, tools, and dashboards using C++ or Python
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Perform constellation design and network-level analysis for existing and proposed systems
• Conduct bulk analysis of performance data from Starshield constellation and hosted payloads
• Write high-quality technical documentation of programs, algorithms, or analysis
