Description

As VP, Global Controller at Slingshot Aerospace, you will lead accounting operations and serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team. You'll oversee financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and M&A activities while scaling financial operations to support our mission of making space safer.

Requirements

• Proven ability to scale financial operations in high-growth organizations
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and optimizing financial systems
• Strong leadership and team development skills in finance and accounting
• Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations
• Experience with M&A due diligence and investor reporting

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for accurate financial reporting
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP, SOX compliance
• Manage relationships with external auditors and lead regulatory reporting
• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and provide strategic financial insights
