💼 About This Role

You'll own the system-level layout engineering for the LDRS product line, a compact laser-driven radiation source. You'll collaborate across mechanical design, facility engineering, and operations to deliver scalable solutions. This role bridges R&D to industrialization for a deep-tech venture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and manage system-level layout aspects including volume, footprint, and interfaces
• Establish functional and physical layout baselines and drive verification strategy
• Develop complete installation and move-in sequence for system deployment
• Govern mechanical interfaces and tolerance budgets across modules and facility

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years developing large integrated interdisciplinary systems
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Advanced CAD proficiency and strong tolerance analysis
• Experience translating complex layouts into industrialized system architectures

• Experience with systems engineering methodologies
• Familiarity with laser or nuclear systems
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing standards
