Description

You will lead a team responsible for the design and analysis of integration hardware and overall engine layout for Terran R. You'll manage a small team, provide mentorship, and collaborate across propulsion and stage teams to develop highly performant and manufacturable engines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 5+ years experience in fluid systems or structural design
• Experience in mentoring and demonstrated leadership
• Experience with CAD software
• Experience with FEA tools (Ansys, Abaqus, or Nastran)

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of integration hardware and engine layout/packaging
• Manage a small team, including mentorship, project management, and recruiting
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on design trades
• Leverage 3D printing and traditional manufacturing to reduce cost and weight
• Guide projects to completion in ambiguous environments
