Description

You will lead full-cycle PCB design for missile systems, including schematic design, component selection, layout supervision, bring-up, testing, and integration. You'll develop fuzing circuitry, interconnect diagrams, and wire harnesses while collaborating with vehicle development teams. This role supports cutting-edge defense technology and involves hands-on lab, ground, and flight testing.

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs
  • Competence with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes) and test automation
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB) and MCU/CPU/FPGA devices
  • Experience with electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred) and design for signal integrity/power integrity
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle PCB design: requirements, schematic, component selection, layout supervision, bring-up, test, debug, integration
  • Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems
  • Closely collaborate with vehicle development teams to design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors
  • Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for electronic equipment within the vehicle
  • Build up and test system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
