Description

You will design and lead recreational programs including activities, hobbies, physical events, and holiday celebrations to support clients' recovery and independence. As part of a holistic approach, you'll help clients build skills for wellness and community living.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, art therapy, or recreation therapy
• Registered or eligible for registration as an occupational, music, dance, art, or recreation therapist
• Valid California driver's license
• 2 years experience in a social or recreational program within the past 5 years, including 1 year full-time in a client activities program in healthcare
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and lead recreational program with activities, hobby interest building, physical activities, and holiday events
• Support client wellness through behavioral skill building, medication support, dietary teaching, and pre-vocational training
• Help clients create lives worth living and succeed as independents in their community
