Description

You will design, analyze, test, and manufacture thermal control and life support systems for Crew Starship missions, including air distribution, water reclamation, waste management, and active thermal control. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated, reliable hardware for human spaceflight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
• 1+ years of experience with fluid, mechanical, or environmental control systems (internship/ project team counts)
• Ability to perform trade studies using first principles and engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency with NX or equivalent CAD
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own conceptualization, design, and build of life support and thermal control systems for Crew Starship missions
• Rapidly iterate on manufacturing processes and development testing
• Manage project delivery timeline from design through production, launch, and operations
• Lead design reviews internally and externally with suppliers and customers
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable with interdisciplinary integration
