Description

As an entry-level engineer at Jensen Hughes, you will learn from industry leaders and perform probabilistic risk assessments and engineering analyses for nuclear power plants. You will develop technical documentation and gain experience toward becoming a consulting engineer in the nuclear energy sector.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, or related field
• Prior nuclear technology experience (e.g., US Navy Nuclear Program) is a plus
• US Citizenship or Green card holder
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access for data analysis
• MathCAD/Python/programming experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) and engineering analyses
• Develop technical documentation for nuclear power plant safety
• Demonstrate solid engineering fundamentals
• Apply analytical mindset to problem-solving
• Deliver clear and concise oral and written presentations
