💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Clients Platform team to define the architectural vision for Verkada's Command interface. You'll drive modularization of web and mobile codebases to support rapid engineering growth.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead multi-quarter modularization of Web (React) and Mobile (Native) codebases.
• Define future client-side stack, evaluating new technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 15-20 engineers including tech leads and managers.
• Own the Verkada Design System and CI/CD infrastructure for frontend and mobile engineers.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience with managing managers or leads.
• Prior experience leading Platform, Core, or Infrastructure teams serving internal engineers.
• Extensive experience with React on the web and strong understanding of Native Mobile (Swift/Kotlin).
• Proven track record of leading large-scale architectural shifts (e.g., monolith to modular).
