💼 About This Role

You'll design and develop compute applications for virtualized AI platforms in a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company. You'll optimize the virtualization stack for AI/ML workloads across thousands of servers in global datacenters. This role offers the chance to work across the full Linux stack from kernel to application.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design Linux applications to manage virtualization stack across thousands of AI servers.
• Integrate Crusoe applications with AI chip-vendor hardware and software stacks.
• Collaborate with kernel and hypervisor teams for seamless application integration.
• Analyze and optimize performance of virtualization stack for AI/ML workloads.

📋 Requirements

• Experience building applications on Linux kernels with knowledge of virtualization and device drivers.
• Solid understanding of hardware devices like GPUs, CPUs, Infiniband, and PCI Express.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems design and protocols (gRPC, REST, TCP/IP).
• Experience with multiple programming languages (Golang, Java, Python, C, C++, Rust).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GPU virtualization for AI/ML workloads.
• Previous work debugging or contributing to kernel or hypervisor code.
• Experience configuring thousands of live compute nodes in bare-metal production.
