💼 About This Role

You'll be the technical authority for Apex's next-generation spacecraft, owning the vehicle requirements, design, and integration. Your leadership will ensure the Comet meets performance and schedule targets while enabling high-rate production. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of satellite manufacturing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own system architecture, performance, and technical decision-making for the Comet vehicle.
• Lead design engineering efforts across requirements, architectural trades, and analysis.
• Ensure successful integration of spacecraft subsystems including avionics, propulsion, and GNC.
• Drive coordination with cross-functional teams to align technical execution with program milestones.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in spacecraft or complex aerospace systems development.
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer or Vehicle Lead on spacecraft or aerospace vehicles.
• Strong background in spacecraft subsystems and system integration.
• Experience leading full lifecycle development from early-stage architecture through launch or on-orbit operations.
