Description

As a postdoctoral fellow, you will carry out research on software infrastructure and enabling components for hybrid quantum–classical computing. You will design quantum–classical workflow frameworks, develop testing and benchmarking platforms, and build integration middleware to support European HPC and cloud infrastructures. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with international academic and industrial partners and contribute to open-source tools for real-world quantum computing applications.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong programming and system development skills
• Experience with quantum computing software architectures or middleware
• Expertise with software testing, benchmarking, and performance evaluation tools desirable
• Interest in quantum computing and hybrid quantum–classical systems

Responsibilities

• Design quantum–classical workflow frameworks
• Develop testing and benchmarking platforms for quantum applications
• Build integration middleware for European HPC and cloud infrastructures
• Coordinate work package led by Simula and monitor task progress
• Lead preparation of project deliverables and contribute to partner deliverables
