Description

You will translate in-game text, dubbing scripts, and marketing materials from English to Traditional Chinese for 2K Games. You'll also assess localization quality, collaborate with LQA teams, and help build localization strategy for Chinese versions of games.

Requirements

• Native Chinese language proficiency
• Advanced English language proficiency
• Minimum two years localization experience in games or related industry
• Firm understanding of games industry, game genres, and popular IP
• Solid understanding of English grammar, colloquialisms, slang, and age segments
• Advanced understanding of Chinese culture and other related entertainment media
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines
• Attention to detail, independent, time management

Responsibilities

• Translate in-game text, dubbing scripts, and marketing documentation from English to Traditional Chinese
• Assess Traditional Chinese materials for localization quality and cultural sensitivity
• Assist in creation and curation of game glossary and style guides
• Collaborate with LQA teams to solve linguistic issues
• Consult with teams on Chinese history, culture, pop-culture
• Work with Chinese language leads to build localization strategy
• Attend localization production meetings
• Provide material and personnel support to senior leadership
