Description

You will support the testing of the latest vehicle and spacecraft designs at SpaceX by assisting in designing and fabricating test fixtures, performing tests, and collaborating with engineers to develop test procedures. This role works closely with engineers in a fast-paced R&D environment focused on enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in a hands-on technical position.
• 1+ years of experience performing electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and fabrication of test fixtures, setups, and stands.
• Fabricate instrumentation and wire harnesses for test equipment and spaceflight harnesses.
• Perform tests with engineers according to test procedures.
• Provide data and preliminary test results.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures.
