Description

As a Junior Market Analyst at Cobblestone Energy, you'll support traders by analyzing market fundamentals, building forecasting models, and automating workflows using Python and AI tools. You'll collaborate with trading, risk, and analytics teams to drive profitable trading decisions in European gas, power, and emissions markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
• Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C++, Java)
• Proficiency in using AI tools to convert unstructured data into insights
• Experience creating automations to eliminate manual data tasks
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Support traders in developing and refining trading strategies
• Analyze market fundamentals including supply, demand, pricing, flows, and regulations
• Build and maintain forecasting models for short-term and long-term market views
• Prepare market summaries, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
• Build AI-driven workflows to scrape and structure unstructured market data
