Description

You will lead US payroll compliance across multiple entities and product lines, supporting automation projects, conducting audits, and guiding the payroll team through complex regulations. This role offers direct impact on risk reduction and team development in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of US payroll compliance including federal and multi-state taxation
• Proven experience managing US payroll operations in a complex or multi-entity environment
• Experience with PEO/EOR models strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of audit processes, system controls, and regulatory reporting
• Experience leading or supporting automation and process improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for US payroll compliance including federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead internal payroll compliance audits and oversee resolution of issues
• Support design and implementation of automated payroll processes and system controls
• Partner with Payroll Operations, Product, Tax, and Legal to ensure compliant workflows
• Monitor and interpret changes in US payroll legislation and update operations
