💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Non-Destructive Evaluation program for next-generation space stations at Vast, ensuring quality and compliance across flight components. Your core impact will be developing inspection processes and training personnel to support a rapid, hardware-rich development approach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain NDE procedures per ASNT SNT-TC-1A and NAS-410
• Oversee NDE personnel certification and program compliance
• Perform hands-on inspections to support production and R&D
• Lead training and mentorship for Level I and II technicians

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• NDT Level II certification in penetrant testing (PT) per ASNT TC-1A/NAS-410
• NDT Level II certification in eddy current testing (ET) per ASNT TC-1A/NAS-410
• NDT Level II certification in ultrasonic testing (UT) including phased array (PAUT)

✨ Nice to Have

• 10+ years functioning as a Level III in two or more methods
• Knowledge of standards such as AS, AMS, AWS, NAS, ASME, ASTM
• NDT Level III certification per ASNT-TC-1A/NAS-410 or AWS CWI
