💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement full-stack web applications powering next-generation space stations at Vast. Your work will enable microgravity research and manufacturing in orbit. This role offers the chance to shape a scalable codebase from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement web applications using modern frontends and application servers.
• Design and implement backends including data modeling, APIs, and pipelines.
• Rapidly iterate on tooling and design new applications as the company grows.
• Adopt software practices and patterns that scale to a very large codebase.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of software development or relevant industry experience.
• Experience building, shipping, and supporting complex, data-intensive full-stack software applications.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working on ambiguous problems.
• Experience with multiple programming languages.
• Experience with API Design and platforms like React, Vue, GraphQL, Nodejs, OAuth, Terraform, FastAPI, PostgresSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
