You'll own the video product end-to-end for PlayOn, the largest high school sports platform in the US, spanning live streaming, player technology, and in-stream experiences. You'll drive measurable outcomes like subscriber retention and viewer engagement, and lead a team to push the next chapter after a foundational rebuild.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own video product end-to-end, including live streaming and player technology
• Lead engineering team to deliver high-quality, reliable video experiences
• Drive subscriber retention, viewer engagement, and streaming cost efficiency
• Build product solutions that lower barriers for schools to stream events

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in video, streaming, or media technology product roles
• Deep familiarity with streaming infrastructure: HLS, encoding pipelines, CDN tradeoffs
• Track record in subscription or consumer businesses with retention focus
• Experience driving product adoption post-launch with marketing/growth teams

• Experience owning P&L-adjacent decisions or building business cases
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflow
• Prototyping and pressure-testing ideas before committing engineering cycles
