💼 About This Role

You'll oversee the performance, integrity, and security of database systems at Agile Defense, supporting critical missions. You'll manage the full database lifecycle and build new databases from the ground up using hands-on programming skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes national security systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related products.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization solutions.
• Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
• Design and build new database schemas, tables, and views.

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's with 6+ years experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell).
• Strong expertise in one or more major DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or C# for building databases.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) or big data technologies.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and BI tools.
