💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting and financial reporting to prepare the organization for its first external audit and public market entry. You'll work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and a dedicated finance team, leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and ensure compliance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation
• Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Oversee external audit process ensuring readiness and compliance
• Establish workflows, controls, and reporting standards for public-company operations

📋 Requirements

• Active CPA with a background in a Big 4 or national firm
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or financial reporting
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles and practices
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements from scratch
