Description

You will lead the evolution of critical areas of SoFi's financial services platform, driving technical vision and strategy, building consensus around roadmaps, and delivering customer value in stages. You'll collaborate with product, marketing, and other teams to align technology with business goals while mentoring engineers and improving engineering culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or similar OOP language.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservices design and scaling highly-available systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation across platform domains for multi-team outcomes.
• Resolve design and implementation problems with competing constraints and high risk.
• Define long-term architectural direction and build consensus around shared vision.
• Drive alignment across teams, resolving technical and organizational conflicts.
• Mentor engineers and participate in recruiting processes.
