💼 About This Role

You'll support the Global South program at the Quincy Institute, a think tank promoting responsible U.S. foreign policy. You'll contribute to research, advocacy, and event planning while gaining experience in geopolitics and geoeconomics.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on geopolitics and geoeconomics.
• Provide statistical support including coding scripts and running models.
• Track daily news and prepare Global South news briefs.
• Assist with planning and running internal and external events.

📋 Requirements

• Knowledge of geopolitics or geoeconomics in one or more Global South regions.
• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
• Some quantitative research skills and familiarity with R or Python.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and mapping software (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience using large databases like those from the World Bank or UN.
