💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and own the cloud infrastructure powering zaimler's semantic platform for the agentic era. You'll architect scalable systems and orchestrate GPU resources for ML workloads in a founding engineer role. This is a build-from-scratch position at a seed-stage company with major enterprise deployments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy secure, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Build and optimize compute systems for distributed frameworks like Ray and Kafka.
• Manage GPU resources and scheduling for ML inference, retrieval, and training workloads.
• Implement monitoring, security, and best practices for high-availability ML/AI systems.

📋 Requirements

• 3–10+ years of engineering experience with hands-on Kubernetes and Terraform in production.
• Experience with distributed systems (Ray, Dask, Spark, or similar).
• Exposure to Kafka or equivalent message queue systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar.

✨ Nice to Have

• GPU scheduling/optimization experience.
• Prior startup/early-stage build-from-scratch experience.
• Experience supporting ML/AI workloads in production.
