💼 About This Role

You'll design and optimize a global satellite communications service owning key areas from antenna control to customer APIs. You'll build distributed systems that schedule hundreds of satellite passes hourly across AWS and on-prem nodes. This role lets you work across embedded systems, high-speed networking, and cloud services at a fast-growing space connectivity startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and build a global distributed control plane for satellite pass scheduling
• Design customer-facing and internal APIs for satellite pass booking
• Implement real-time TT&C/data-transfer streaming channels
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure uptime

📋 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in Rust, Golang, or C/C++
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with FPGA programming and orchestration
• Experience with high-speed communications (10GigE+)
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
