💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Payments team at Imprint, owning services that process and reconcile customer and partner payments. You'll set strategy, grow the team, and drive resilient payment flows while meeting regulatory and audit requirements. This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical money-movement at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set technical and organizational strategy for Payments Engineering
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams
• Own delivery and operations of mission-critical money-movement services
• Evolve monitoring and alerting for payment domains and providers

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience
• 4+ years managing backend/platform teams operating 24x7 services
• Experience building payment or financial systems at scale (ACH, debit, bill pay, RPPS, or check processing)
• Strong systems architecture across distributed systems and data integrity

• Experience with provider integrations and payment rails
• Experience in regulated environments
• Experience with large-scale platform refactors
