Description
As Deputy CMO, you will support the Chief Medical Officer in leading Medical Affairs, driving clinical quality improvement (especially medication management), building new care programs, integrating AI into services, and serving as a clinical thought leader for external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Board-certified psychiatrist (MD/DO) with 15+ years clinical care experience
- 10+ years leadership experience in mental health care
- Proven cross-functional leadership at VP or senior level in high-growth organization
- Strong people-leadership and systems thinking
- Hands-on leader comfortable with ambiguity and on-call for high-stakes situations
Responsibilities
- Support evolution of core clinical programs and develop new care programs
- Lead execution and quality improvement of medication management capability
- Ensure ethical, safe, and well-designed use of AI tools in mental health care delivery
- Serve as clinical representative with external stakeholders including health plans and large employers
- Act as senior change leader on complex strategic initiatives
