You'll gain hands-on experience in a small animal practice under veterinary supervision. You'll participate in all aspects of patient care, from examinations to surgery. A weekly stipend of **$250** supports your learning.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an **accredited DVM** program.
• Authorized to work in **the United States**.
• Carry **professional liability insurance** (AVMA PLIT).

Responsibilities

• Gather histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
• Scrub in to surgery and assist in medical case management.
• Produce appropriate medical records (SOAPs).
