You'll work directly with strategic startup customers to optimize their AI workflows and translate real-world usage into durable improvements for OpenAI's research and products. This role combines hands-on technical depth with product judgment to shape how advanced AI systems improve.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work with startup customers to uncover failure modes and improvement opportunities
• Prototype and iterate on prompts, agents, and workflow designs
• Synthesize feedback into reproducible evals and technical artifacts
• Build repeatable tools and evaluation approaches

📋 Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with production system experience
• Experience as a technical founder or early-stage startup engineer
• Familiarity with model training pipelines and reinforcement learning
• Experience building AI applications, agents, or evaluation systems
