You'll lead the design, development, and testing of neuromodulation therapy devices for Cala Health, working on projects from early prototyping to manufacturing scale-up. Your work will directly impact patients with chronic conditions like essential tremor, ensuring high-quality, reliable medical devices reach the market.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical design and reviews for complex schedules
• Design high-fidelity prototypes for usability studies
• Define test plans and lead verification activities
• Drive manufacturing transfers and continuous improvements

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in mechanical engineering with electromechanical systems
• Taken a Class II medical device from design through FDA 510k to manufacturing
• Expert-level SolidWorks skills with complex surfacing and tolerancing
• Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 and ISO 10993 standards

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with wearables or high-touch consumer electronics
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) mindset with diverse processes
• GD&T and statistical analysis (DOE) proficiency
