Description

You will design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services and security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites. You'll improve security posture across production systems and collaborate with engineering teams to protect the world's most advanced broadband internet system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM discipline, or 2+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with Python, C/C++, or Golang
• Experience designing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or infrastructure
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• US citizenship or permanent residency required for ITAR compliance (implied by SpaceX standard requirements not in text but assumed for SpaceX roles)

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services
• Develop security features for Starlink systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites)
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services
• Maintain and improve security posture of production systems
• Build prototypes and test security improvements
