Description

Join Monzo's engineering team to build and improve our in-house banking platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver products that make money work for everyone, from personal banking to credit cards and pensions.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience on a technology product
• Product mindset with focus on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions
• Comfortable working with ambiguity in a team
• Interest in distributed systems and writing resilient software
• Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a squad to build and support a part of Monzo
• Design and build backend services for banking products
• Contribute to distributed systems and resilient software
• Participate in the standard interview process across collectives
