💼 About This Role

You'll manage team budgets and optimize compute unit economics for Waymo's engineering resources. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to track investment areas and spend anomalies while supporting annual planning and month-end close processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage team budget and track key investment areas
• Monitor usage of engineering resources to optimize compute unit economics
• Communicate spend snapshot and escalate risks/opportunities
• Support annual plan, long-term plan, monthly forecast and month-end close

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MIS, or Business Analytics
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking experience
• Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets)
• Proven experience managing Opex and Capex budgeting and forecasting

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting software engineering, ML, or data center infrastructure
• Exposure to autonomous driving, robotics, or aerospace
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
