💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate the data backbone for KAYAK's Business Intelligence team, serving as the single source of truth for the organization. You'll architect scalable data pipelines and optimize performance to support company-wide reporting and analytics. This role requires working from our Concord, MA office 3 days per week.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and monitor robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow
• Design performant data models and optimize complex SQL queries
• Build automated checks and alerts to ensure data reliability
• Automate repetitive tasks and build self-service tools
• Collaborate with business partners to translate questions into technical solutions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience owning end-to-end data pipelines
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with distributed/columnar databases
• Proficiency in Python with software-engineering approach
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow) and containerization
