💼 About This Role

You'll be at the heart of emergency veterinary care, triaging patients and assisting with treatments in a fast-paced ER. You'll support a collaborative team and grow into advanced nursing responsibilities. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and learning pathways in a 2025 Great Place to Work® certified hospital.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Triage incoming patients and assist with treatments and diagnostics
• Set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases with veterinary team
• Manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration
• Participate in patient rounds and assist during outpatient and inpatient care

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years in a veterinary assistant role
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and support up to 40 kg

✨ Nice to Have

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience
• Basic computer skills and practice management software experience
