Description

You will support the full lifecycle of flight testing for an attritable UAS platform, from planning and execution to data analysis and reporting. You'll work hands-on in a fast-moving program, conducting test events and coordinating with engineering teams at forward-deployed locations to advance autonomous strike capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering (advanced degree preferred)
• 4–8 years of flight test engineering or developmental test and evaluation experience
• Experience supporting first-flight events and build-up test programs for novel aerial systems
• Proficiency with ground control station environments and mission planning
• Familiarity with small UAS autopilot architectures (ArduPilot, MAVLink) and FAA regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cards, and checklists across all active test phases
• Conduct pre-test planning including objective development, Measures of Performance definition, and hazard analysis
• Execute test events as test conductor, data monitor, or range safety support
• Perform post-flight data reduction, trend analysis, and contribute to quick look and formal test reports
• Support TRRs, Safety Review Board proceedings, and Phase Gate Reviews with technical briefings
