💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of platform services for Kaseya's SaaS Backup products, protecting M365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce data. Your work will build the next-generation backup storage platform operating at massive scale across trillions of objects and petabytes of data. You'll collaborate closely with principal engineers on cross-service interfaces and data models.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own full lifecycle of platform services from design to production deployment
• Build reliable, well-tested backend services in Go
• Design integrations with SaaS APIs handling rate limits and failure recovery
• Contribute to architectural decisions within your domain

📋 Requirements

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience
• Strong Go/C++ or equivalent systems language
• Solid distributed systems fundamentals including consistency and failure handling
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes
• Experience building or consuming REST or gRPC APIs in production systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud object storage (S3, GCS, or Azure Blob)
• Familiarity with SaaS API integrations (Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace, Salesforce)
• Kafka or similar message queue experience
