You will lead backend development for Affinidi's decentralized identity platform using Rust, collaborating with global teams to build secure, scalable systems that empower data ownership. Your work will shape the Internet of Trust through open-source contributions.

Requirements

• Proven experience with performance optimization and diagnosing system bottlenecks
• Strong backend development skills with Rust as core expertise
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js; Dart strongly preferred
• Expertise in cloud computing (AWS) and cloud-native environments
• Proven track record in designing and deploying distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver secure high-quality features for Affinidi Elements Platform using Rust
• Create standards-compliant world-class software systems, mostly open source
• Influence architectural direction and long-term technical strategy while staying hands-on
• Design and implement solutions to complex large-scale technical challenges
• Raise engineering excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and workshops
