💼 About This Role

You'll build and own VC relationships across East Asia to drive referrals for Airwallex's startup sales. You'll be the face of Airwallex in the local venture ecosystem, attending events and earning trust. This zero-to-one role offers high autonomy and the backing of a $8B global platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and own VC relationships across Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan
• Drive referral pipeline by mapping priority VC portfolios and generating introductions
• Plan and execute ecosystem events, targeting ~4 qualified events per quarter
• Represent Airwallex at venture and startup events, articulating value proposition

📋 Requirements

• 3-5+ years in venture partnerships, VC ecosystem development, or startup community building
• Demonstrated experience working with or alongside VC firms or accelerator programs
• Strong relationship-building instincts with credibility engaging investors and founders
• Native Korean or Japanese, plus fluent English

• Existing network within the Korea or Japan VC/startup ecosystem
• Experience supporting or executing events like founder dinners, panels, demo days
• Familiarity with cross-border financial operations, payments, or fintech products
