Description

You will ensure the operational integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of the data center, handling mechanical, electrical, fire life safety, and telecommunications systems. You'll monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions to prevent customer-impacting outages.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of telecommunications, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems
• Experience with chilled water systems, HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, PDU, CRAC/CRAH units
• Ability to work with contractors and consultants for system expansions and upgrades
• Proficiency in CMMS system and trouble ticket management
• Experience with fiber and copper cabling terminations, circuit path creation

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems (electrical, mechanical, communications, building monitoring and control)
• Complete Data Center Operations Qualification Program within first nine months
• Track and complete preventive and predictive maintenance schedule
• Manage systems to avoid unplanned, customer-impacting outages
• Provide day-to-day exceptional customer service and support
