Lead and evolve Coupang's core search experience powered by AI and machine learning. You will own the end-to-end search experience, from product direction to ML systems to business outcomes, driving measurable impact on key metrics and shaping how millions of customers find products.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in software engineering and/or machine learning
• Strong product mindset connecting technical decisions to customer experience
• Experience owning user-facing ML products (search, recommendation, ads, marketplace discovery)
• Deep understanding of search and recommendation systems (ranking, retrieval, relevance, personalization, system tradeoffs)
• Proven experience leading large, multi-team organizations including managers of managers

• Own and evolve Coupang's search experience end-to-end
• Define and execute product and technical roadmap for search
• Drive measurable impact on key business metrics
• Lead and scale a multi-layer engineering and ML organization
• Build and launch new search capabilities while improving existing systems
